Esquisse 3_Locking System

As getting more and more challenging, the requirement of Task 3 is to create a 'weight bearing structure" that possibly holding up to 100 kilograms. I was getting excited pretty fast once starting with some miniature prototypes.

The first attempt was a typical cube that is fully enclosed all sides and only used a single piece of cardboard to form the structure. But I was not very satisfied with the product since my intention was to go for something workable but still light-weight. And here is my solutions:

Interlock systems I used to create more strength for the cardboard and ensures its stability when standing on.

Final Outcome & Actual Testing

My product was quite strong enough to hold up to 2 persons (I guess) as I made full use of all the cardboard I have. I have learned from this practice to explore and resolve the weakness of some interlock systems effectively.
