Finalized Concept and 1:5 mockup

From the previous development, i'm working towards to make a 1:5 mock up on normal cardboard. And this is my finalized prototype on 1:5 scale. The proportion of seat is a little tall and wide. I will adjust it further to make it look slimmer and more comfortable when sitting.

The chair consists of 2 separated pieces which will be locked together as one.

The main structure of chair which formed as supported leg and the low backrest.


This piece is the seat and functions as the locking structure. This helps the back structure be held upright and sturdy.



Basically progressing from this stage, i'll be working on 1:1 scale model for the outcome of my chair.
